Arnold Swartzenegger’s Secret To Big Legs
Filed Under Leg Tips |
Many years ago I was reading a very old muscle magazine that had an interview with Arnold Swartzenneger when he was competing in bodybuilding competitions.
What Arnold revealed in that article I still remember to this day, it has influlenced the way I train, and in particular to the way I train my legs.
I can in fact say tht it is mainly due to this piece of advice that my legs have achieved the shape and definition that I currently have and am currently very happy with.
So what is the advice….
But before I tell you lets go into the background a little more.
How many times do you see guys at the gym, latest gym clothes, hair freshly styled, muscle singlet perfect for their body shape to hide their faults and accentuate thier strengths, designer track pants and designer weight training shoes. They look good…
Or do they?
They will look at themselves in the mirror, pose and think they are handsome.
One quick way to bust their bubble would be to run up behind and pull those designer track pants down, revealing their stick insect like legs.
Their whole physique is an illusion.
Strip them down to some posing trunks and place them onstage and see how ridiculous they look with their over developed upper bodies and under developed legs they stole from some Ethiopian child. It’s a disgrace.
Arnolds advice if you want big legs was to wear shorts to the gym. That way everytime he looked in the mirror he was constantly reminded of his weakness (at that time his legs and calves).
Try this yourself, wear shorts (not long ones) to the gym and everytime you admire your chest, back or arms you will suddenly be reminded that you do not look so good with those skinny legs.
Accept reality and you will gain new enthusiasm for training your legs and calves - after all you want bigger legs don’t you?
